The COVID-19 pandemic has been a turning point in the field of education and culture. The social impact triggered all affected areas. Libraries had to adapt to the situation in order to continue to provide a good service to all users.
However, restrictions are maintained only for certain activities considered most risky, as well as general prevention measures.
The capacity of the libraries during the pandemic was regulated in order to protect everyone from the serious health situation. That's why, until a few days ago, it was 70%. The UAB Library Service has confirmed the increase in capacity to 100%, although the study rooms are still at 50%. In both cases, the use of a mask is still mandatory in order to prevent possible contagion.
