AmicsUAB is a nonprofit organization of public interest affiliated with the Autonomous University of Barcelona that works to strengthen the relationship between the university and society. Since its founding in 1982, the association has sought to be a meeting place open to anyone who shares an interest in knowledge, culture, debate, and the university community.
AmicsUAB is made up of people connected to the UAB, professionals from various fields, and citizens who wish to maintain their connection with the university and help spread knowledge beyond the campus.

AmicsUAB’s mission is to connect the university with society. We do this by organizing cultural, social, and educational activities that foster knowledge, dialogue, cooperation, and a commitment to the community. We work to ensure that the UAB extends its reach beyond the classroom and that university knowledge reaches a broad, diverse audience eager to learn, share, and participate.

AmicsUAB organizes activities and projects that connect people, knowledge, and institutions.
