Nexe AmicsUAB: How are humans and bacteria alike and how do we differ?

On 1 April at 6 pm at the Mestre Martí Tauler Library (Rubí), Dr. Jordi Barbé García will give a lecture on the similarities and differences between humans and bacteria, delving into the key concepts to better understand our environment.

Member of the SGR Molecular Microbiology Group and lecturer in the Department of Genetics and Microbiology, Dr. Barbé focuses his research on bacterial virulence factors and the development of alternatives to antibiotics.

This conference will be a unique opportunity to discover how bacteria and humans share more aspects than we might imagine and how these differences can influence our health and the advancement of science.
