Evenings with Amics: Pension Plans: Benefits, Drawbacks, and Myths

AmicsUAB is reviving its gathering and discussion spaces with a new format that combines knowledge, debate, and networking in a friendly and relaxed setting.

On this occasion, we will be joined by Yolanda Blanch Ruiz, chair of the Oversight Committee for the CaixaBank Employee Pension Fund, who will present the talk “Pension Plans: Benefits, Drawbacks, and Myths.”

What do we really know about pension plans? Are they a good tool for planning for the future? What advantages do they offer, and what are their limitations? Addressing these and other questions, Yolanda Blanch will help us better understand a financial instrument that is often surrounded by a mix of information, perceptions, and some common myths.

Following the presentation, we will open a discussion with attendees and continue the event with a standing cocktail reception—an opportunity to share impressions, chat, and make new connections.
