Tribute to Enric Larreula - Fundació Bosch i Cardellach
With the participation of Enric Larreula, Jessica Neuquelman, and David Vila, with Anton Carbonell as presenter.
The event will be a tribute to Enric Larreula, a renowned writer and illustrator, author of classics such as Tales for a Better World and Behind Us, a River of Broken Flowers. Neuquelman and Vila will talk with him about his work, including the book Under the Fig Tree.

The Bosch i Cardellach Foundation aims to honor the life and career of Enric Larreula, a writer, university professor, and illustrator. Since 1981, Larreula has published numerous works of children's and young adult literature, with titles that have influenced generations. He is also the author of poetry, theater, essays, short stories, and satirical narratives. He has been awarded the Pere Quart Prize for Humor and Satire for his works The Tip (1990) and The Shower (2000). Recently, his first book, Behind Us, a River of Broken Flowers, was republished, a work closely tied to nature and Catalan identity. His Tales for a Better World (Lola Anglada Prize 1991) remains a literary classic.
In this session, Jessica Neuquelman and David Vila i Ros will discuss Enric Larreula’s work with him, as they did in the recently published book Under the Fig Tree. Attendees will also have the chance to enjoy some of the stories Larreula tells with his unmistakable charm.
