On Friday morning, the Vilanova del Vallès City Council and AmicsUAB signed a framework collaboration agreement with the aim of promoting cultural, training and outreach activities in Vilanova del Vallès.
The signing was formalized in the presence of the mayor, Roser Colomé, and the president of Amics UAB, Susanna Baqué, who highlighted the importance of this alliance to strengthen the link between the university and the territory and bring academic knowledge closer to the public.
This agreement establishes the general framework for cooperation between both institutions and will allow the development in Vilanova del Vallès of initiatives aimed at disseminating the knowledge generated at theUniversitat Autònoma de Barcelona, promoting debate on current issues and contributing to the cultural and social revitalization of the municipality. The collaboration aims to facilitate access to quality content and generate spaces for shared reflection between experts and citizens.
With this agreement, Amics UAB reinforces its mission of knowledge transfer and consolidates its role as a bridge between the university and society. At the same time, the Vilanova del Vallès City Council reaffirms its commitment to collaboration with academic institutions with the aim of enriching the cultural and educational offer of the municipality and continuing to promote initiatives that bring value to the entire citizenry.
