The UAB organizes a session to discuss the armed conflict in Ukraine

Tomorrow, the 6th, at 1:00 PM, in the journal room of the Humanities Library, the institutional event called "Wind from the East: war and peace on the borders of Europe" will begin. The main objective of this event is to share the impressions of university participants about the conflict between Ukraine and Russia. What makes this event unique is that the participants are from Serbia and Romania, and they will share their perspectives.

Javier Lafuente, rector of the UAB, will open the event and introduce the participants: Igor Bogdanovich, Liudmila Navtanovich, Inna Kozlova, Costina Banica, Max Sokhatski, and Oscar Jané. Additionally, Màrius Martínez, the vice-rector of International Relations and Language Policy, will speak to highlight the university’s support actions for those affected by the current war.
