Electoral calendar approved for the elections to the AmicsUAB Board of Directors

At the assembly held on 26 May, the electoral calendar for the elections to the AmicsUAB Board of Directors, which will take place this year, was approved.

The period for submitting candidacies will be open from 15 to 30 June, both dates included. Candidacies must be submitted by email to amics@uab.cat.

Each candidacy must consist of a closed list of a maximum of 12 people and must comply with the provisions set out in Article 15 of the organisation’s Statutes.

On 1 July, the candidacies will be officially announced and published on the AmicsUAB website through a news item. Subsequently, from 2 to 15 July, the electoral campaign period will be open. During this period, the organisation’s available communication channels (website, email and social media) will be made available to the candidacies so that they can carry out their campaigns.

16 July will be the reflection day, and on 17 July the assembly will be held. At 4:00 p.m. on first call, and at 4:15 p.m. on second call.

In accordance with Article 14 of the Statutes, voting is personal and non-transferable. Voting will take place in person, although exceptionally (in cases of illness, travel or similar circumstances) and with prior notice, electronic voting may be allowed.

The Electoral Board for this process will be chaired by Joan Lluís Pérez Francesch, with Gemma Ruiz Salvatella and Joan Gómez Pallarès acting as members. It will also include one representative from each candidacy, acting as an observer.
