On June 10th, the Biblioteca Mestre Martí Tauler in Rubí hosted the conference “One Health: One World, One Health”, organized by AmicsUAB and the University Extension Classroom of Rubí.
The session was led by Dr. Maite Martín, professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Science of the Autonomous University of Barcelona. During her presentation, she introduced the One Health Platform and explained the importance of addressing human, animal, and environmental health from an integrated perspective.
She also highlighted the role of research and interdisciplinary collaboration in tackling global challenges such as pandemics, zoonoses, and climate change, and cited some initiatives in which the UAB participates within this approach.
The conference concluded with a Q&A and reflections from the audience.
