The UAB Choir honors the Ukrainian people through a traditional Ukrainian song for peace.
The Spring Concert is getting closer, and the vocal group of the UAB is preparing for the occasion. For this reason, they wanted to perform this traditional song and, in this way, send strength to the Ukrainian people through music. The song is called Цвіте терен (The Thorns Bloom) and condemns the war while advocating for peace.
On Wednesday, March 16th, Oksana Kuikova visited the UAB Choir, and they took the opportunity to rehearse the song. Oksana is dedicated to sharing videos with her family and friends in Ukraine to convey the message that they are not alone.
This visit not only served for rehearsal but also to have a group reflection on the suffering and loss of the thousands of lives caused by the war between Ukraine and Russia.
