The disciplinary dismissal, debated in a new session of the "II Cicle Un Cafè de Dret"

The "II Cicle Un Cafè de Dret" held yesterday the penultimate session at the headquarters of the Bosch i Cardellach Foundation in Sabadell, under the title “The hearing prior to the disciplinary procedure: Jurisprudential keys and comparative perspective".

The session was given by doctors Jessica Romero and Matteo Avogaro, professors of Labor Law and Social Security at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

The conference addressed the main legal aspects related to disciplinary dismissal. During the session, the figure of the previous hearing was specially analyzed, a requirement that, despite having a regulatory background, has acquired a new relevance as a result of the latest judicial interpretations. The presentation was complemented by the study of several practical cases that allowed attendees to deepen in the concrete application of these concepts and solve doubts about common situations in the field of labour relations. The explanation, rigorous but at the same time very close and understandable, facilitated the understanding of a legal matter often complex

The next and last session of the cycle will take place on June 11 at 6:30 p.m. under the title "The use and abuse of the Decree-Law in Spain: Limits, controls and current debates". Drs. Laura Cappuccio, professor of Constitutional Law, and Zuley Fern.ndez, professor of Financial and Tax Law, both professors at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, will be in charge.

With this session, the cycle continues to consolidate as a meeting place between the academic world and citizens, with the aim of bringing legal knowledge to society and fostering debate on current issues.
