The II Cicle Un Cafè de Dret closes with a debate on the use of the decree-law in Spain

The II Cicle Un Cafè de Dret has reached its conclusion. Yesterday, June 11, the last session was held at the headquarters of the Bosch i Cardellach Foundation in Sabadell, under the title "The use and abuse of the Decree-Law in Spain: Limits, controls and current debates". The session was given by Dra Laura Cappuccio, professor of Constitutional Law, and Zuley Fernández, professor of Financial and Tax Law, both professors at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

The attendees had the opportunity to delve into a matter of great legal and political relevance such as the use and abuse of the decree-law in Spain, analyzing its constitutional limits, control mechanisms and the main debates it generates. In line with the objectives of the II Cicle Un Cafè de Dret, the conference became a space for reflection, debate and knowledge exchange that allowed legal issues of general interest to be brought closer to the public in a rigorous and accessible way.

With this session, the second edition of the Un Café de Dret cycle is completed. These conferences have been a meeting place between the academic world and the public, with the aim of bringing legal knowledge to society and fostering debate on current issues.

At AmicsUAB we want to thank the Bosch i Cardellach Foundation for the good reception they have given us, offering us their headquarters in Sabadell to give the lectures. Also, it is worth highlighting the involvement of Joan Lluís Pérez Fransech, Professor of Institutional Law and Secretary of AmicsUAB, to be in charge of moderating all the sessions. The II Cicle Un Cafè de Dret cycle has been a collaboration with the reading professors of the Faculty of Law of the UAB, we hope that next year we will be able to hold a third edition to continue sharing the legal knowledge in society.
