“Un Cafè de Dret” continues with Dr. Montserrat Sole-Truyols and the effects of work on pensions

On April 25, the Sagarra Hall at the Ateneu Barcelonès hosted a lecture by Dr. Montserrat Sole-Truyols, moderated by Professor Alfredo Ramírez, which examined how current working conditions can affect present and future pensions. The event, held at 6:30 p.m., attracted an audience interested in the connection between the labor market and the social protection system.

The lecture addressed topics such as job insecurity, changes in employment models, and their potential impact on the sustainability of the pension system. It also offered tools to better understand the challenges facing the current model in today’s socioeconomic context.

The audience showed a high level of interest and active participation throughout the event. This engagement fostered a constructive dialogue that led to a lively, respectful, and enriching debate, where diverse perspectives and well-grounded reflections on the future of the pension system were shared. The interaction between speaker and attendees flowed naturally, creating a truly valuable space for exchange.

For those who wish to delve deeper into the content presented, a summary video from the lecture will soon be available on the AmicsUAB website.
