Glòria Ortega, lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the UAB, offers us a reflection on ovule donation and assisted reproduction, focusing on an area that is increasingly present in our society.
In this knowledge capsule, she analyzes the process of ovule donation, the reasons that lead women to donate or receive ovules, as well as the emotional, physical and ethical implications that are associated with it. She also reflects on the importance of psychological support, clear information and respect for the diversity of reproductive trajectories to guarantee a conscious, safe and responsible process.
