Physical Activity, Nature and Emotional Well-being: What Does the Scientific Evidence Tell Us?

Place: Auditori de la UAB (Facultat de Filosofia i lletres)

In recent years, particularly following the COVID-19 pandemic, attention to mental health and emotional well-being has increased, and a large part of the general population has also intensified its movement toward natural spaces to engage in activities as part of a healthy lifestyle. At the same time, there has been a surge of scientific studies in an emerging field of research that links activities in natural environments with mental health and emotional well-being. This seminar reviews the results of this research and reflects on its implications for improving human health and preserving the environment.
