"It's time to turn off the camera? - Glòria Ortega

Dr. Glòria Ortega, an expert in children's rights and digital environments, offers us a critical look at the presence and exposure of children in the digital age. In this knowledge capsule, derived from her lecture as part of the series Un Café de Derecho, she analyses how social networks, family blogs and educational platforms can put children's privacy and dignity at risk.

Dr. Ortega reflects on the need to adapt the legal framework to the current technological reality and raises key questions: What control do children have over their own image? How can families, schools and institutions guarantee their digital security?

A proposal that invites us to rethink the protection of children in a hyper-connected environment, and which opens the debate on the digital rights of minors in the 21st century.
